It was going to be a major upset if he didn’t win; Laycon was finally announced as the winner of the BBNaija Lockdown today. Among the five finalists, Vee was the first to be evicted and Neo followed her. In a surprising turn of event, fan favourite Nengi was the second runner up while Dorathy emerged in second place and was also the last girl standing.
Laycon’s N85 Million grand prize comprises of a N30 Million cash prize, a trip to Dubai for two packaged by TravelBeta, an SUV courtesy of Innoson Vehicles, supply of home appliance from Scanfrost, two-bedroom luxury apartment and many other prizes. This remains the biggest reward in the history of Big Brother Nigeria. Laycon joins Efe, Miracle and most recently Mercy Eke as winners of the Big Brother Nigeria show.
The show began July 19, 2020 with a total of twenty housemates, today the last day was the 71st. It came at the right time as people were stuck at home due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The show delivered a lot of entertainment and it was an avenue for so many Nigerians to forget about their worries.
