Van Dijk was rated 85 on FIFA 19. Last season he was colossal once again as Liverpool went further and became European Champions. VVD is now rated a massive 90 on FIFA 20, one of the best players in the world.
Frankie De Jong
Prior to last season no one really knew who Frankie De Jong was but everyone knew Ajax had a system that works and were always creating exciting talents. De Jong was rated 77 on FIFA 19. Last season, 22yr old De Jong was the best midfielder in Europe as Ajax lost agonisingly to Tottenham in the Champions League semi-final. His reward? An 85-rating card on FIFA 20.
De Ligt
From the same Ajax production lineup as De Jon, De Ligt captained the Ajax team which made it to the Champions League semi-final. Only 20, the young centre back secured a big move to Italian giants Juventus to replace the injured Capitań, Georgio Chielini. Rated 80 on FIFA 19, Ligt got 85 on FIFA 20.
Robertson

Once the most expensive keeper in the world prior to Chelsea breaking the bank for Kepa, Alisson carted all possible goalkeeping awards away last season. Bernardo Silva
Part of the exciting Monaco team dismantled by bigger European clubs, Silva took advantage of KDB’s injury and became a central figure to the Manchester City team that ran away with all domestic trophies in England last season. He also shone as Portugal won the Nations League. Arguably City’s best player last season, expect more from him. Silva moved 84 to 87 on FIFA 20.
Raheem Sterling
Raheem is playing the best football of his life under Guardiola. Most would argue he was the best for City last season and not Bernardo Silva, he was equally as instrumental as Manchester won all domestic trophies. Sterling moved 85 to 88 on FIFA 20.
Son
Tottenham is not a team expected to win trophies, their major object is to always secure a top 4 spot in the Premier League and go far in the Champions League. Last season, Spurs punched above their weight as they lost agonizingly to Liverpool in what was an all-English Champions League final. Son was very instrumental in this run-in. Son moved 84 to 87 on FIFA 20, his overall FIFA Ratings card improved massively.
Marco Reus
Dortmund crumbled when it mattered most in the title run-in last season and lost the league title to perennial rivals Bayern Munich. Ridiculously talented but often plagued by injury, Marcos Reus managed to stay fit for most part of the season and had one of his most productive seasons yet for the Yellow Wall. Reus moved 85 to 88 on FIFA 20.
Kareem Benzema
This is quite a surprising upgrade as Real Madrid had a woeful 18/19 season. No matter who Madrid buys, Benzema always found a way to remain the number 1 striker. Already a Real Madrid legend, Benzy moved from an 84 rating on FIFA 19 to an 87 rating on FIFA 20.
