Known in short as RCCG, the Redeemed Christian Church of God is the Pentecostal church that has the highest number of branches in Nigeria. It is one of the most populated Pentecostal churches in this country, having more than 2 million people in membership. Also, RCCG has the largest auditorium, capable of accommodating its members, particularly during their crusade along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The current General Overseer of the RCCG is Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye, who is a highly respected man of God in Nigeria.

2. Living Faith Church World Wide (or Winners Chapel)

Living Faith Church Worldwide is a Mega Church as well as a Christian denomination that was founded in 1983 by Bishop David Oyedepo. The religious organization has since grown to become an international network of churches, having congregations in sixty-five (65) countries. Sometime ago, Living Faith Church Worldwide was named the world’s largest church by the Guinness Book of Records. It’s a headquarters auditorium, called Cananland, which can accommodate 50,000 worshippers. Its headquarters is situated in Ota, Ogun State.

5. Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministry (MFM)

Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry was founded in 1989 by Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya in Yaba, Lagos State. Popularly called MFM, it ranks high among the biggest churches in this country with a crusade hall that accommodates more than 40,000 worshipers at once. The church, which has its camp along Lagos-Ibadan expressway, has a network of branches in all state capitals, local government headquarters, senatorial districts as well as locality in Nigeria. Also, it has many branches in English-speaking and non-English-speaking countries.

6. Deeper Life Christian Ministry

Also referred to as Deeper Life Bible Church, Deeper Christian Life Ministry is a non-denominational Christian Church that was established by Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi in 1973, who is also its overseer.  Its International headquarters is in Lagos. Pastor Kumuyi was once a Mathematics lecturer at the University of Lagos in Akoka, Yaba. In 1973, when he began his ministry, he started out with just 15 people. He was expelled from the church in 1975 for allegedly preaching without credentials. He continued his ministry, independently, that became the Deeper Life Bible Church in 1982. By the early 1980s, that initial small group had become much larger, growing to several thousand, and that was when Deeper Life Bible Church was established, officially. Deeper Christian Life Ministry has now spread throughout sub-Saharan Africa and then to the UK, where branches were created from in other regions, like Western Europe, Russia, North America, and India.

In April 2018, the new headquarters of the church was commissioned at Gbagada with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo being one of the Dignitaries. Deeper Life Bible Church headquarters auditorium can seat more than 30,000 people, which makes it one of the leading churches in Nigeria.

7. The Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA)

The founder of COZA was Reverend Biodun Fatoyinbo. He established the church in 1999 in Ilorin, Kwara State, and now has many branches in various parts of this country. COZA is headquartered in Abuja, and its auditorium can accommodate up to 10,000 worshipers at a time.

8. Daystar Christian Center (DCC)

Headquartered in Ikeja, Lagos State, the Daystar Christian Center is among the fastest growing churches in this country. It was established by Pastor Sam Adeyemi, who is a Renowned Motivational Speaker and also serves as the Senior Pastor of the Commission. Pastor Sam’s vision is focused on raising role models, and for this reason, the younger generation is his target demographic group. Pastor Taiwo Odukoya is the co-founder of Fountain of Life Church, and its headquarters is in Ilupeju, Lagos. It was extremely popular in this country and was also among the biggest when late Dr. Bimbo Odukoya, one of its owners, was alive. Fountain of Life Church is still thriving with its message centred on the single and married. The church auditorium can accommodate more than 5,000 worshippers at once.

10. The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministry (LCCRM)

Its headquarters is in Lagos and has a membership consisting of majorly Eastern People.
