Tiwa Savage’s Early Life
She was born on February 5, 1980, as Tiwatope Savage-Balogun in Ikeja, the capital of Lagos Nigeria. She comes from Isale Eko, in the local development council of Lagos Island.

Savage graduated from secondary school in the UK and was a trombonist in her school’s orchestra during her school years. She earned a degree in business administration from the University of Kent.
At 27, she graduated from Berklee College of Music, Massachusetts, United States of America, with a diploma where she was motivated by the younger students and the atmosphere.
